Just spent countless hours in the wee hours of the morning to watch all the video blogs...which were fun, funny, and overall really great to see all the cast members contributing!!

I am now also a new fan of Tracie's, seeing as how I thought she did a really FANTASTIC job in the movie and finding out that she's a fellow Renthead! How cool is that?? I look forward to seeing her upcoming work...and if she's reading... then my shout out to her!

My other new obsession is Taye Diggs...seeing as how he's an amazing actor, great voice, and SUPER hot! =)

Of course, I love everyone in the cast and after watching the AOL sessions with Rapp singing Halloween, I have cemented my feelings for him as the "quintessential Mark Cohen." I have loved all my past Marks, but could anyone contribute more soul and love to that song?

And to put an end to my fawning(/idolatry??) of the movie and the characters/cast, I normally just read rather than post on blogs (mainly due to laziness) but I thought I should considering I have been a fan of the show for close to 7 years now (I just calculated that in my head last night..and I can't believe it's been that long!) and watching the movie made me revist my love for the songs and the story. And now, coming to this blog (which I again think shows so much dedication and committment to the fans) I again am reminded of how Rent is a rare and precious jewel that in the sum of its parts is more an experience than a musical or movie...so thanks for letting me be a fan and part of the wonderful world that is RENT!

It's so freakin' awesome of you guys to keep posting these blogs even though its been almost 2 weeks since the release date -- I don't know of any other cast in the world would be as freakin' awesome as you guys. How cute was Anthony laughing in the background? I don't know about the rest of you, but all my attention was focused on him during Taye's answer (not that I don't love Taye too). AWWW that's really sweet. They really are a cute couple and by Hollywood standards their relationship (Not just their marriage) has been a pretty long one. So I think it's so awesome and I'm happy for them. Taye is a total hottie and Idina is beautiful so you know they will have beautiful children someday. I wonder how Taye felt about Idina mooning everyone and kissing on Tracie. I'm sure he thinks it's cool since it's just part of the movie (and was part of the show). My younger brother is in an interracial relationship, his girlfriend of 2 years is African American. Both were raised in completely different settings and yet they find common ground and make it work.

Taye and Idina are so cool. I love the video blogs. I'm going to go see the movie again this weekend. I saw it the day it came out, but I'm going to see it again before it leaves theaters.

Tidina=God!!! holy freaking cow. i love you both so much, you are THE (phoenetically-theeeeeee) most gorgeous couple EVERRR. hands down. every other couple in the worlds got nothing. i love you both, you're both so beautiful and talented and it's perfect that you're together, it makes complete sense! when i grow up i want a happy mariage with staying power..when i grow up lol im 16. everyone at my school cried when nick and jessica broke up (all girls school--really emotional shizz), "if they cant make it, no one can." blah blah. i said "thank god it wasnt idina and taye, because then for real, no one could make it." i got yelled at. im such a broadway geek.

anyway as a final thought- i remember idina, you said at your concerts in p-town and boston that you and taye were thinking of starting a family and people "woo-ed", and you said "why do people always do that?" i have an answer for you:

To both of you: I respect and appreciate the fact that you don't let your professional lives rub off on your personal lives. I recently played Ophelia in Hamlet, and my interaction with another male onstage made my boyfriend really jealous. It's nice to see that there are people out there in the performing arts who understand the difference between what you do onstage and what you do offstage, and don't get hung up over acting.

Ok everyone say "awwwwwwwww".

Yes, Dee, i have returned. mwahahahahaha.

I have now seen RENT twice. The second time was awsome, because we (by 'we' i mean my fellow renthead friends and i) saw the 10:20 show on a Tuesday night! No one was there so we got up and danced on the chairs! First, though, we blared La Vie Boheme in the parking lot and sang and danced on my friend's car while yelling out the best parts of the song like: "TO THE STAGE!!" And we were able to moooo at the top of out lungs. I think we even sang Season's Of Love and Finale B in some form of twisted harmony. It was awsome!!

Sure we all lost our voices, and had to wake up early the next moring for a rehersal... But it was so worth it!

Anyway... the movie was amazing and Taye was adorable during You'll See. I must say, he makes the cutest faces, but you've probably already noticed that, Idina. lol. GOSIP!

Needless to say, at the next day's rehersal, everyone was randomly yelling things like; 'Viva la vie boheme', and 'Moo w/ me!'

Everyone loves RENT thanks guys for being so cool! hehehe!

After seeing you in Rent 3 times in NYC in '97 almost 10 years ago, I've never stopped sining the songs. The amazing 2 disk cd has never left the family CD player, until I left for college 2 years ago, and this year when I found out RENT was comming to theaters I had to rile my roommates up now they have seen it each 2 times, we sing the songs every second we can (we came up with dances rather than working for finals). And when we found out last year you were in SF we were extact seeing that where we go to school. But no such luck running into you all. But love any ways!

Your music, voice, dedication has inspired me to live my life through the crap we all deal with... live like there's no day but today.

Ahhh Taye Diggs, He is by far my favorite actor ever! I have been saying this ever since I saw How Stella Got her Grove Back. Hes so damn hot too. An excellent actor, awesome singer and hot bod what else is there to need? Idina and Taye are awesome together!

First of all, Idina, you are amazing! I didn't get to see you in the OBC of Rent, but Wicked was amazing!!!!! (I haven't seen Taye as much, but from what I've seen, you're amazing too!)
I love how you guys put little comments to eachother in yout blogs (Taye: "tell idina her arms aren't fat." they're not, at all, btw. Idina: "those actors playing maureen and benny are all over eachother"....) haha you two make me happy and give me hope that true love actually exsists somewhere.
