I agree that the long (I guess they've been called Bon Jovi locks) worked really well in the movie. I'm so used to seeing Roger on B'way with the short sort of punk hair but I really liked how it was done for the film.

That's a great clip! I actually discussed that very thing with my mother while I was home for Thanksgiving after we saw the movie. The long hair was perfect for the role, but Adam, we love the short hair! :)

I think both styles work for you, though they each present a different persona...which is wierd for me to say since I feel like the same person and don't understand how people say I look different as a woman who's shaved her blonde hair completely off. It's still me!

Ok, this comment really isn't relative to the post. However, I must say that, Adam, your hair looks much better short, but I can see why it's long in the movie.

My question is: When is the movie coming out on DVD? I've already seen the movie 3 times in the past 4 days and have a yearning to see it yet again. Yes, I realize this might sound a bit loseresque, but I really do love it. I'm hoping to see the stage performance again up in Detroit this January.

P.S. My sister and I have turned our roommates into Rentheads! So, we'll probably end up with 4 copies of the movie at our apartment, and some compies of the movie soundtrack...we already have the OBC double disk soundtrack.

Personally- I love his hair either way- I LOVE HIM!! He was sooo CUTE in the film! It made me love "Roger" even more than i did in 1996 (and at the age of 3, I was in LOVE!!!) He is just an amazing actor- WITH AMAZING HAIR!!

It doesn't matter how you wear you your hair, you're still going to look gorgeous. I think the long hair allows Roger's character to kind of hide behind the hair and escape behind it. I like the comment you made before, too, about how it doesn't really matter how long the hair is to begin with; it's a minor point that has little to do with what RENT is all about. What's much more important is NO DAY BUT TODAY.

I like your hair long, but I of all people understand what a pain long hair is. My hair isnt just long, its thick, curly AND long. short hair is much more managable, but both look great.

I admit the long hair really worked for the movie. The whole idea of long hair rebellion works for Roger. He is unkept, doesn't care what he looks like in the beginning, etc. so it makes sense.
I have to admit though, I was sort of skeptical at first but when I saw the first promo pictures my mouth literally dropped. Short, long, it doesn't matter since you are an amazing actor (and quite the looker ^_~) either way.

You know what I found really interesting is that Adam's face changes so much with the different hairstyle! I think with the hair either length Adam looks really good, but I find that the eyes are really unique with short hair. I don't know exactly why, but Adam's eyelashes just kind of...*pop*...when he has shorter hair. (I must admit, it's a little mesmerizing)
