AWWWWWW no it can't be ending!!!! I guess, like tracie, I'm gonna have to ween myself off... I dont want the blogs to end!!! well.. since they are, I guess i'll just say this. You guys (the cast, chris colombus, and everyone else involved with RENT the movie) are INCREDIBLE and you have no idea how much you have spoiled us with these blogs!!! I really will never be able to appreciate another movie cast again, because I doubt ANYONE could measure up to the amount of love you show your fans :D Every time I go to see a movie I'll say "well, it was good, but they should have had a blog". wow I am the one of the first to comment. Ok fisrt off I love the movie I have seen it four times so far and I plan on seeing it more. Rent will actully be comming out to vegas in may I think and of course I will be going to see it agean. To the cast thanks you guys rock!!! I think you are so vary talented and amazing. ahh, nnooooooo. This site has been so amazing, and getting to see all of you like this has been such an experience for me as a fan. I'm actually crying now, I'm gonna miss seeing all the blogs. After you actually SEE the movie, you can go back and watch all of them and remember all the equipment and props from the blogs and the movie. As a fan, this has been amazing, and I hope to get to meet all of you one day. Here's my little note to each person in particular...

Anthony- I never really knew about you until I started liking RENT, but you're such an amazing actor and inspiration. You take the time on Broadway World to post, and seem as sweet as could be to everyone. I can't wait to get your book, and hope to meet you one day; you're so inspirational.

Adam- Same as Anthony, I learned about you through RENT. Watching you belt out Glory as Roger had a big impact on me, and you make the role so real. Now all the time, my friends say you're gorgeous after seeing the movie, haha, and I'm starting to get them to like more and more theater, and you've been so unbelieveably talented through this whole project.

Jesse- You are one of the coolest people ever. haha, you were amazing in the movie too, and I'm so glad you skipped Law and Order for a while to shoot the movie; I wouldn't have wanted anyone else as Collins. I cried every time I saw Angel's funeral, and the looks on your face during that movie are just amazing. Thank you so much for being part of the movie, it means a lot to me as a big Renthead.

Wilson- You. Kicked. Ass. Ever since watching the blogs, you were hysterical and I would love to meet you someday. I cry every time I see the movie, and all my friends think you're amazing. They're all getting hooked now on this site and the video clips and everything. You're a huge inspiration to so many people out there, and I wish you luck is all your other future projects.

Taye- I've seen you in some movies before Rent, and of course I watched Kevin Hill every day it was on. You are so amazing and to watch both you and Idina on screen in the movie is also very exciting. I never got to see both of you in Wicked at the same time, but from what I heard you were amazing. I'd love to meet you some day, and even though Benny's supposed to be an ass, you still showed his good side. Thank you so much for being in the movie.

Idina- I really don't know what to say. You've been the first person I've known about from this whole production. I've met you maybe twice, and each time you are as sweet and loving and generous as can be. You made the movie so amazing, and now all my friends finally can see who you are. Like everyone else, thank you so much for being in this movie, and I hope to see you in something else again soon!

Tracie and Rosario- WOW. WOW. and WOW. I really can't believe it. You guys kicked SO much ass it was insane. At first, I wasn't sure because you hadn't known the parts as well, but now that I've went through the whole experience, as well as the whole blog site and watching you guys talk, it's been amazing. Now I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to play Tracie or Mimi. You both made the roles so real, and I hope maybe one day you both would even consider being in the Broadway production; and Tracie, I'm sure you'd get in this time...those guys were just jerks before. :) Good luck with everything else you do, and thanks for being so amazing and inspiring.

Chris- You did an amazing job on this movie. Even if I had the chance I wouldn't have changed anything. You made the movie come to life, and I can now always picture Maureens and Bennys and Angels and all of the characters walking around the city. Thank you so much for being part of it, and using the original cast members...I know for a fact, THAT means a lot to everyone.
P.S. to Idina- I'm not sure if you go on this site anymore, but your fanmail box on your site is full, and I just wanted to tell you, whether it would do much or not, I went to See What I Wanna See on December 2nd. I know Daphne was there and came to see you, but I was just wondering if you got a gift I made for you. It was cross-stitching in a silver picture frame, with Heart on My Sleeve lyrics, and glittery hearts. I'm sure there's no way to hear back from you, but I just wanted to tell you, since we didn't get to see you, I hope you like it, and I worked really hard on it for you.

I cannot express enough how proud I am of the movie. I'm proud because I've seen the show on broadway. I've had the privelage to catch Idina in Wicked (twice), and Taye also in Wicked when he played Fiyero. I'm totally blown away by all of you. You inspire me. Idina and Anthony especially. Idina, your presence just uplifts me. No matter how down I'm feeling...your performance always uplifts my emotions. When you're on stage, there's this huge energy that just flows through you and rubs onto the audience and effects them. It's incredible . You're incredible...then end. Anthony, you're my inspiration. I take a musical theatre class at my school and we had to write a paper on inspiration and you were my main focus. You're incredible. The emotional part of your performance just relaly inspires me. Now that the movie is actually out, it is easy to see how much work everyone involved in the production actually did, and it is met with sincere graditude from all RENT's fans. You guys did it. All of you. And I'm sure all of these RENTheads won't forget anytime soon how amazing this musical really is, how AMAZING the film turned out to be, and most importantly how amazing all of the cast and crew really is. Thank you. It's been a fantastic ride.

Today I stole my friends Santa Hat- which was weird because I kept saying- "HAPPY CHANUKKAH!" and started singing- "Today For You!" REALLY LOUDLY!! I was just like- "THIS AKITA, EVITA- JUST WONT SHUT UP!" Then I played the beat on my desk and had some friends join in... As soon as they started I jumped out of my seat and danced around the room! IT WAS THE BEST- YOU ARE THE BEST!! Thank you- thank you very much!
Tracie- You have an AMAZING voice! with talent that is really overwhelming! In "Take Me Or Leave Me" I kept smiling and you ROCK! I can`t honestly find words to desribe how much you ROCK! You rocked before people knew what rocking was!!

I believe that i owe the biggest thabk you to Jonathan Larson- himself. His amazingness and love for music and life makes me love him! (without even knowing him!) I think about life without Rent and J. Larson and have a huge mental block.. My life has revolved around helping people with AIDS because I learned about it.. and Jonathan just seemed to believe in happiness! Living each day as if there was- "No day but Today" and seeing love and beauty and the good in everyhting.. or atleast his characters did.. But I bet you anyhting he was the same exact way!

Wow so i cant believe it's over i've been a blog lurker snese the begining and i think i constantly check it when i'm not busy with college life i'm addicted lol. No but i jsut wanted to thank all the actors and everyone for taking their time out of their busy days to provide us with a little entertainment, so thank you so much. This movie and play of course has inspired so many people and i'll always keep it in my life.

There has never been a movie so in touch with their fans. You all truly broke out of the mold by responding to us and going to the premeres along with the fans. It shows us all how important we are and that is rare. Thankyou for making this dream come true. Even though the movie did not run very long you touched so many peoples lives in the process. One little side story my sisters boyfriend died from cancer last november and when she was in the hospital with him she painted his fingernails. Just like in the movie. It goes to show that the little details are what counts just like how you all read this blog it shows us all that you truly care and will not forget us when this blog ends. I just want to add my voice to the chorus of "thank yous" for the movie and the blog. I'm a new Renthead but already I know that it's something that will stick with me forever. Oh, I feel terrible, I wrote a big long entry on what I want to thank everyone for and I forgot Idina!
Idina: First of all, I did not forget you for lack of love! It's finals week and my mind is completely scattered, lol.
Thank you for your honesty as Maureen, and the fun you bring to the role. Your voice is so beautiful, and your performance so real and in your face. I think a lot of people could learn from Maureen how to live their life to the fullest. She is all about love, and I don't think that would have been realised if you weren't so full of love yourself.

Well I suppose its time...

For the past few months, it has been my routine when I come home from school, to throw mt backpack onto the floor, rush up the stairs, sign on to AOL, and check the site. When there is no new post, I feel sad. When there is, however, my heart leaps a little and I smile. For those few minutes, I get lost in the world of RENT. For those few minutes, nothing else is happening in the world. For those few minutes, I forget all of my stress from the day. The blog has been my escape from reality, and I will truly miss it. It is what I look forward too when I am having the worst day, and when I am having the best day, it makes it even better.

I cannot say it enough, thank you.
Without such an absolutley incredible cast, none of this would have been possible. Without such a devoted and loving group of actors this blog and site would not exist. While you are thanking us, we are thinking and saying the same thing.

I find it hard to put into words how much this blog means to me, and to all of my fellow RENTheads. The blog makes me feel like I am sitting down to have a conversation with all of the RENTheads in the world, and with, of course, all of you. The conversation is a giant one, where everyone gets a say, and nobody is left out. Nobody feels lost while taking part in the conversation. Nobody feels out of place while taking part in the conversation. It is a conversation based on emotion, devotion, compassion, and passion (when its new). The conversation is what RENT is all about.

And now, for the personal thank you's...

Adam- Roger. Passionate, lost, caring, devoted. You make me feel that love is truly possible, even under the worst sercumstances. When you are singing, nothing else in the world matters. I find I can't take my eyes off of you when you are belting out words of love and sorrow.

Anthony- Mark. Humorous, frustrated, loyal, friendly. You have such presents. With a single note, you could make me smile, laugh, cry, and cringe all during that one single note. You make me feel that when my world starts to shatter around me, I can find hope in the people and things that I love.

Idina- Maureen. Flirtatious, fiery, egotistical, oblivious, emotional. In a character that is so, though I hate to say it, bitchy, you truly find the good in her. So passionate and so true to herself. Idina, you are my role model. You have amazing talent, its hard to bellieve that it can all fit inside of you. You made me want to become a Broadway actress, and I not only thank you for that. You are just so devoted and caring. I am proud to be such a huge fan of you and your work.

Jesse- Collins. Loving, simple, truthful, human. Such a simple character, you would think. You take him and add so much depth. Your voice, magical. It rushes through me and lifts me up when I am down. You can make me break down in one scene, and make me grin in another. Such an incredible character and actor.

Rosario- Mimi. Raw, alive, spontaneous, crazy. An incredible character. She just wants to be alive and is thankful for her life. Sometimes, she takes it for granted. You make Mimi so much spicier, if that is possible. So mind-blowingly amazing. Your voice is so smooth and just so real. I wish I could dance the dance of life along with you in each and every scene. Just so alive and out there.

Taye- Benny. Cold, pressured, changed, greedy. A character with many levels. Although I love to hate Benny, you make me feel sorrow for him as well. I can't say if he does love Allison, but he changed for her, which is a big deal. So stil, while I hate the character because of his coldness to his ex-friends, I love him still.
THANK YOU.

Tracie- Joanne. Committed, realistic, faithful, practical, rational. All she wants is commitment. Of course, commitment from the one person everyone knows will never follow through. Although this is the case, you never do give up. You make Joanne so much more loving than she already is. Such a real character. You can reach notes that I won't be able to hit for a long long time. You added so much.

Wilson- Angel. Giving, unique, warm, stylish, sweet. An incredible human being. Angel is an Angel, and nobody could be more angelic than you, Wilson. Sucha sweetie-pie. When I feel sad, I think of Angel. "What do I have to be sad about?" I ask myself. Then I think of all of the things I have that I should be thankful for. Theis reminds me of you and Angel because Angel never seems sad. Angel always finds the good in peopleand situations, no matter how bad they may be. You are such an amazing person and actor.

This is so sad. I always went to the blog at the end of the day just like Tracie and now it's not going to be there. When Wilson said true believer for the last time// i'll admit there was a tear* I cannot tell the cast how much the blog ment to all of the fans how important it was to the movie that the fans talk to you guys. And you were all amazing about posting. A thousand sweet thank you's. I love you all. It's going to be so sad not being able to communicate with the cast. You have all found a special place in my heart. I love you and I'm going to see the movie as many more times as possible.

Oh wow, it's seriously over? That makes me really sad. :'( But anyway... Thank you guys so much for doing this and for keeping it up as long as you have. It's meant so much to the fans to know you're out there listening to us and communicating with us. Seriously, you guys all rock so hard for that. <3

I haven't posted this here yet... But I loved the movie so much. I'm not going to lie, I went into the theater wanting it to be good and yet still being cautious, and when I left... Wow. Honestly. There weren't words, still aren't, to describe how completely happy I was with this film. All of you were AMAZING. I don't cry during movies. I just don't. But this had me sobbing- not just a few tears, seriously sobbing- and also laughing and smiling and way too many things to post. The new dialogue is wonderful, and the closing shot was the absolute most perfect thing I have ever seen. The first time I saw it, I went with people I call my Rent son and granddaughter (I introduced it to him, he loved it, he introduced it to her, she loved it) the day it opened, and all three of us were simply blown away. Honestly, we were seven hundred different kinds of happy on the way home. :)

Then I went and saw it again that night with my little sister and her boyfriend. She has loved it as long as I had, but he had never bothered to listen to it and "hated Rent" on the basis that I loved it and he lives to annoy the crap out of me. (Seriously. He knew almost nothing about the show and would insult it just to make me angry.) She cried from Without You until twenty minutes after we left the theater, but what really surprised me was how much Larry liked it. He cried during the ICYR, and then he just held my sister and said "Wow, this makes me want to never, ever fight with you again." If you guys knew these two, you would know just how amazing that was.

Oh, and my sister took my mom to see it, and she loved it, too. :) In fact, everyone I've introduced it to loved it, including the friends who used to tease me about how much I liked it (but now they are fans themselves) and the very conservative Catholic girl who still blushes if you mention sex.

Sorry this is so long, I just wanted to let you guys know just how much these blogs and this movie means to me and how much it is affecting people, even here in the middle of conservative Ohio.

Ohh my gosh I can't breath and im crying!!! I can't believe im crying...ok need to stop now!!! *Deep breath* ok so today hasn't been a great day...its yucky weather and a storm is headed this way and I have a HUGE history exam to study for...but screw it for now because im wring a LONG blog...so hang in there who ever is reading this...

Wow this has been an amazing experience.... I have to say I was nervous when I first heard that Hollywood was thinking about making rent into a movie...I mean I wanted it really bad... I wanted to be able to have it on DVD and play it anytime I want and not have to travel to NYC to see it (although I would rather live in NYC right on Broadway.) I mean rent is amazing on stage I just didn't know what anyone could do to make it as powerful and as up close and personal...but you did it.

When I first heard about this blog I had NO idea what it was...me being me wasn't going to comment in fear that my email would be out there...but if it was for rent I was willing to take the chance...and plus I trust all of you guys and girls more than I trust the kids at my own school...

Rent has an amazing message...it is so powerful and has so much meaning that for even a girl of 15 years old (me) can take so many things to heart. Yes I have been listening to rent since I was five...yes five you might be thinking that my mom is crazy because of the language and drug references...but I new my boundaries and I only sang the words my mom said so I never stepped across that line. I mean at five I didn't even know what it was about.... and then I got older...and started to look at the world around me...and a song from one of Jonathan's other musicals came to mind "Real Life" one of the lines in there is "is this real life" and I started to look around and think "wow there are so many messages...and so many different stories out there..." rent had always been in my life but when I really started to listen to the lyrics and feel the power in the worlds that all of you were singing...it was overwhelming....

AND THEN I WENT TO NYC.

My first trip there...wow! I was 13 "finally a teenager" and my mom said she would take me to NYC to see RENT...well I almost died I was so excited...I had mean listing to it for seven years by then...I knew every word to every song and I was so excited to see it performed live!! Well when I got there and the lights dimmed and the fist piano note was played I got the chills...those chills stayed with me until the last song.... I laughed at the little jokes and Maureen ;), was amazed that angel could dance and jump off a table with those heals and how gorgeous he was! And I cried when angel died and when Mimi and roger broke up and I cried again at the end when they were showing marks film and we played it all around the theatre I was soo mad at Benny when lied about Mimi, and then I forgave him when he paid for angels funeral. It was just amazing everything about it was amazing...after the show I waited and I got everyone's signature...I didn't think of pictures at the time. But the other 3 times I saw the show I got pictures...and everyone was solo nice.... so genuinely nice...thanked us for thanking them and signed anything you asked...wow I love you all

And then I heard about the movie...and I was excited and nervous...I didn't want random 'Hollywood stars' in the show...I probably would have protested...im my eyes the only stars that could have filled those roles were the OBC I had never seen them and this was an opportunity for me to... so when the announced that it was going to be the 5 OBC I was so excited...hey 5 is better than 0...so then I looked up the other two performers to be in this and I saw Tracie Thoms and Rosario Dawson...I knew Rosario Dawson was already a star and that was ok with me...I liked her =) I knew she was a great actress...and then I read Tracie’s bio and immediately fell in love with her along with the whole cast!!

So I started to come on the blog everyday! I knew it only updated Mondays and Wednesdays (normally) but I still came on everyday...from the moment it launched...it was amazing...I posted as much as I could and longed to hear from the cast members and Chris Columbus...anything to get me closer to a project that I was in love with...I wanted this movie to be special! I was seeing clips and hearing clips from songs and it sounded great! And then I remember the day the soundtrack came out...wow when I got to Barnes and nobles almost all of them had been sold out... I bought it and started playing it...I imported it into my ipod and then put it in my CD played...I’ve been waking up to it every since... I loved when you guys did with it...I miss some songs. But I loved the quality and the harmonies...great job

And then the movie came out.... that day we had a half a day so five of my friends, my mom and I all raced to the movie theatres...just to hear "it hasn't arrived yet" well I was so upset I was almost in tears...so I took all their movie poster (well a lot of them which I plan to use as wallpaper) and left...that night I went to the waterfront and say it and balled my eyes out in the begging I had tears of joy and by the end I was balling...I was so impressed you all nailed it!! It was so powerful!

I have now seen it 7 times...which was my goal...but I want to see it more...maybe tomorrow if we have a snow day which I am praying for...but I love it and I plan to buy it the day it comes out!!

Im so sad this is your last blog, but I knew it would happen...

I can't believe this is it. I've loved this. My friends knew to come to me for RENT news because I checked the site every day. Wow. This is gonna suck...not having this everyday. Wow. I love Tracie. She's totally on point. Oh well...gotta go see the movie in theaters like 500 more times, and then I WANT THE DVD ASAP!!!!!! Please PLEASE hurry up and release it. this is an addendum to my previous comment which got truncated: thank you all for taking the time to put these video blogs together. much love to each and every one of you.

A huge thank you back to the cast and Chris for bringing this amazing experience to the big screen! I have gone six times so far to see it, three of those times taking people with me. Two of those three people were especially important because unlike myself, they had never gotten to see RENT onstage and did not understand why I am such a fan and collector for the past 7 years until now. First, my sister. She loved it and because she had the chance to see it, was able to be the unbiased person to make my mother understand why I love it to so much (she is a strict Catholic). This unbiased opinion helped to secure a purchase for me of a RENT item for Christmas from my mother. Whoa - a TRUE Christmas miracle! The other one is my husband. He went with me the 4th time I saw it. He could not understand why I wanted to see it over and over again in the movies, until he saw it himself. During the "I'll Cover You" reprise he held my hand so tight. Afterwards, he told me he understood my connection and love for this amazing body of work. So again, THANK YOU SO MUCH Anthony, Adam, Idina, Taye, Jesse, and Wilson for coming back to this. And to Rosario and Tracie...so much thanks to you because your amazing talents fit in so seamlessly and beautifully with the original cast. Aw :( no more blogs for awhile. I suppose you do need lives outside of RENT though, hehe. Thank you for being so connected to all the fans throughout the entire film-making process, I know I appreciate it so much and I'm sure everybody else does too :)

There are few hollywood actors and actresses that would connect with their fans so freely as you all did. You truly broke the mold and for that we are grateful. Even though the movie did not last very long it still touched so many lives. One little side note my sister's boyfriend died of cancer last november and when he was in the hospital she painted his nails just like in the movie. It just goes to show that it is the little things that matter the most. So once again thankyou all for being so wonderful. RENT will forever be in my heart.

Awww that makes me so sad that this thing is ending! I love all of you actors and I love you even more when you're all together(Today Show, Ellen, etc...you guys are so cute!).
Taye- what can I say? You're so gosh darn HOT! Oh yeah, and you're super talented too, haha.
Adam- You're amazing as Roger, you totally embodied the character...just amazing.
Anthony- You are sooo awesome and cool! You can just tell that you really put your whole heart into this and into keeping the fans involved. I know that you were a big part of making the blog happen, and I thank you thank you thank you for doing it.
Jesse- oh dang, that voice of yours is just to die for, I can't get over it. You seem like such a nice guy.
Wilson- Your Angel is absolutely incredible, I loved your performance in the film. You're wonderful.

Idina- You are incredibly talented and gorgeous, and just full of class. I have to admit, I just started to know who you were as of Wicked(so I kinda feel like a poser, :-/), but you are such an inspiring person, you just have a certain je ne se quois about you.
Rosario- YOU. ARE. UH-MAZE-ING. I absolutely LOVED you in this film. You are super hot and adorable and gorgeous all at the same time. Your performance was incredibly moving, you are a wonderful actor and if you don't get an Oscar nomination for this, I am boycotting them. Your voice is so unique sounding and I can't get enough of it. I listen to the end of 'Goodbye Love' over and over, it moves me every time, because you somehow manage to get an incredible amount of emotion in your voice and it's just ridiculous.
Chris- THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for bringing this movie to us, it is incredible...enough said.
Everyone else involved- This movie is absolutely remarkable and I'm sure everyone was an important part of it, so thank you too!!

Can't WAIT for the DVD to come out! There better be LOADS of special features on there!

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH. Thank you for an incredible, inspiring, amazing, beautiful movie. Thank you for putting your hearts and souls into it and thank you for realizing the importance that this story has on so many people and for allowing us to be a part of it. There is no other play that has touched so many people on so many levels, and this movie is just a way to allow it to get out to more people. What other movie has people who are so dedicated to it and so in love with what they are doing? What other movie has such a huge, everlasting fan-base. Rent may not get the Oscar nod, but unlike the movies that do it will live on forever and we won't forget it. There is so much meaning to it. Me and my friend wrote an article about it for our school paper and it became ridiculously long because we just had so much to say.

Tracie, you are the best! I totally agree...I don't know how I'm going to do when I get home from school now! What blog am I going to watch? It makes me so sad that it's over, and it makes me sad that I didn't get into this who "blog" thing until later in the game. (I didn't even know what a blog was..haha)

OMG.....NOOOOO...I love my RENT blog. Tracie I know how you feel now what will all the RENTheads talk about on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. I am so happy that this was here and I am sooooo soo sad to see it go.

i want you all to know that as i was reading all of these posts i was and still am crying!!! this is sooooooooooo sad, i love each and every second of the movie RENT!!!! this movie and play is soooo inspiring. i've grown so accustemed to checking the blogs and the videos, i'm just sorry that i didn't become a renthead sooner, but all 8 of you have a place in my heart always and forever, these blogs and video's have become my life, everyday i count down the hours until i get out of school then i go home and check the blogs, this website is what gets me through the days, the weeks,and the months. i just can't believe that all this has to come to an end, and that this will be my last comment for a long time or maybe even forever! i don't want to face reality and think about that this site will not have any new blogs or video's, i will probably be on this site tomorrow not realizing that its all over, and be looking for new posts. i can't let go of all the memories, and face real life again. i love the whole cast, i'm going to miss you all, i've seen the movie 19 times, and am going again this weekend. i hate the fact that it all has to end, tear..tear, for real. i want to thank Chris,Taye,Anthony, Adam, Rosario,Jesse, Wilson, Idina and Tracie with All my love and hopes for the future, goodbye,

Idina, this really isn't rent specific but I just wanted to say thank you so much for being such an inspiration. You have such an incredible voice and it is thanks to shows such as Wicked and Rent that I realized that being on Broadway- as much as it is a dream, I have to at least try to make it a reality. Thank you so much for just being amazing and doing plays such as Rent and Wicked. The messages behind these works are so good and so needed in today's world. Thank you!

Wow, I feel like I only just found the blog site and now it's coming to a close (at least for the time being). I'm gonna miss reading and watching the updates but hopefully there will be more at a future date! Thanks to Chris and the cast! All of us here, I'm sure, appreciate that you took the time to read all of our posts! You guys are all amazing singers and actors and I hope to see you all in other projects soon (and in person would be... amazing!) I'll keep watching RENT (dragging my friends to go see it so they fall in love with it the way I have) and listening to the soundtrack! I'll Cover You and Today 4 U keep playing in my head whenever someone mentions RENT.
I'm going to see it in NYC again on Jan. 7 and I plan on being in NYC for the 10th anniversary! Whether I get a ticket to see it or not is another story.

i told myself this day wouldn't happen. i love you all, and no comment i could write could sum up how much you mean to me and the entire rent story. it's given me such a clearer perspective, and i am so thankful to have had you amazing people play these roles.

i know this is just another comment of hundreds, but i really do hope you read this one. thank you, so much. truly. you're fabulous.

SOB! I knew that this was going to come, but I wasn't aware of just how sad it would make me. Many of you said that this was a diiferent experience for you, to hear what the fans are thinking every step of the way. It was the same for all of us, to have a place where we could come and make suggestions and speak our minds about a project that is so important to so many of us, was truly a blessing. There have been times when I was just having an awful day and I would come to the blog to look at the latest entry, and it would put a smile on my face because you all just got it so right. This movie is a testament to how much this work has touched thousands of people, and you were all so perfect. I've seen many different RENT casts, but to me the 8 of you will ALWAYS be Benny, Roger, Mimi, Collins, Angel, Maureen, Joanne and Mark. You are the definitive cast of RENT! I'd love to see you all do the full show on stage someday!!

Taye: You're so funny. All the stories of your pranks on set were hilarious! I love your singing voice, and you make a great bad guy! AND you look hot in a suit! You and Idina are by far my favorite celebrity couple! I hope to see you in more movies soon!

Adam: I don't know how your voice got so damn beautiful, but somehow it did, and I will be forever thankful for that. You were so emotional and heartbreaking in this film, it was truly great acting. The sense of grief, distrust and anger that you gave Roger was truly encredible, thank you so much.

Rosario: Lord! You were AMAZING! I rue the day I ever uttered the words "Yea, but can she sing?" Your voice is magical, I could listen to it all day. And your acting was obviously fabulous. You brought a kindness and innocence to Mimi that was perfect. You truly made her more than a stripper and a junkie who happened to fall in love, you made her a multi-dimensional character, which was something I'd always looked for from Mimi. I had always thought Mimi's character was the weakest link in the show, no longer, now there are NO weak links!

Jesse: Your voice makes this aspiring actress develop a severe inferiority complex. Thank goodness I'm not a man so I'll never have to compete with you for a role! lol. Everytime I listen to the I'll Cover You Reprise I sob histerically, your voice just exudes emotion. I'm so glad you did this project, and I love watching you on Law+Order. If you don't get nominated for an Oscar I will be SEVERELY upset!

Wilson: Everytime I watch you in the movie I think "Why can't I look that good in a dress?!" It's so unfair. I love Angel, and you are so perfect in the role. And one of my two favorite moments on the blog was when you were talking about pulling off the road when you got the role. I laughed for like a week! Your voice is encredible and I can't wait to see all three of your new movies!

Idina: Yea, so basically, I think you're a goddess. There isn't really much else I can say. I think you are the best Maureen ever, I think you are the best Elphaba ever, and I can't wait to see what you do next. OH! I love in Kissing Jessica Stein when you're blonde and you say "Are you a lesbian?!" CLASSIC!

Tracie: Meh, I can't even express how much I love you! I'm so glad that a RENThead got to take this journey, and report back on all the fun details to us. You got to dance with Anthony Rapp, kiss Idina Menzel, and go to the Life Cafe with 6 of the original cast members! You are by far the luckiest RENThead of all time. You are also sooooo talented, everytime you sing or speak in the movie I get chills. I think that you are fabulous, and I can't wait for the Devil Wears Prada (a portrait of a true sociopath, if ever there was one.) Good luck in all your future movies! OH and I saw you in a guest appearance on a show the other night, and I totally screamed I was so happy!

Anthony: Saved the best for last! You inspire me. There is no other way to put it. I love Mark, he's my fav, and to me you ARE Mark. I feel Mark is the heart-and-soul of the group and of the show, and I think you are the hear-and-soul of the cast. Everytime you are asked a question you answer it just perfectly, everytime I am blown away. To me you are the physical embodiment of RENT. Whenever I hear someone say RENT the first thing I think is "Jonathan Larson!" followed very closely by "Anthony Rapp!" Thank you for caring so much about this process, thank you for caring so much about us RENTheads, and thank you, thank you, for being Mark.

All of you have made this movie the best it could possibly be, thank you so much. I hope that in the next few years I will get to meet all of you, so I can tell you inperson how much you have meant to me, (and hopefully get some autographs too! Anthony, I'll try not to shake, but I can't make any promises about crying.) Thank you again.

Aw I'm going to miss all these really awesome updates. The movie was awesome and I'm really excited for the DVD. I'm glad you guys are all so appreciative of the fanbase and care enough to post all the time. I don't think I would have been as excited as I was without all the posts about how great things were going. Well, it was worth the long wait as I'm sure the DVD will be even better (since it will have deleted scenes which are always fun). And hey, who doesn't love singing and dancing along? haha.

Anyway, about the movie, you (of course) were incredible and Take Me or Leave Me is my personal anthem. I love you so much!!!

Jesse - your compassion and love for RENT is truly inspiring and I love you for it. You are a wonderful person and an incredible actor. The funeral scene was probably the saddest few minutes of my life and I was truly touched by your performance. I thank you so much for taking time from Law and Order to do this movie because I couldnt picture anyone else as Collins.

Rosario - although you were new to the whole RENT scene, I have to say..you kicked some butt in this movie and I couldnt think of a more perfect Mimi. The emotion and sexiness that you brought to the role was absolutely amazing. And another thing, YOU HAVE AN AMAZING VOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Out tonight is one of my top 5 favorite RENT songs. i really hope to see you in the near future and I wish you the best of luck.

Taye - you are one VERY lucky man. being married to my idol and all. But although you were the "bad guy" in the movie, you are actually pretty cool. I had the great opportunity of seeing you and Idina in Wicked together and i must say, the chemistry was pretty intense and I loved your performance. Your voice is amazing and I wish you and Idina the best of luck in your life together.

Tracie - ur my girl!!!! i love your crazy, hyperactive, renthead self. You are so caring and thoughtful and really care about the fans, because you are a renthead yourself! OMG! My Response to this being the last blog was the exact(and my mother can testify to this)same response as Tracie Thoms "What am I gonna do with my life now that it's gone??" my mothers response "Move onto the next thing". How insensitive!

I love you all so much. I think it's so incredibly awesome how you guys have reached out to us. you have been thanking us through this whole thing, but it's we who should be thanking you. Most "Celebs" wouldn't have given us the time of day. You guys reached out and kept us updated and connected to this amazing project and I just am so thrilled that got to be apart of this.

Idina- I am using "Over the Moon" as my exam monologue for Advanced Drama(so far I have a 100 for my off book read through yaay). With you responding on how the peice was based on improv and just having fun I've been able to expand and use different things with it(my teacher wanted me to put my twist on it). I don't think I would have done it without your...input(for lack of a better word).

This is so sad! I think Tracie summed up my feelings pretty well. It will be hard to get out of the habit of checking this site constantly. I really hope the updates about the dvd are as great as these have been. Thank you guys so much for keeping up with the fans, we appreciate it.

I teared up. Wow, I'm so lame.

Anyway, I love musical theatre and try to see and listen to a variety of productions, but somehow I always end up back at RENT. I won't go on about why because the reasons I have are nothing that hasn't been said before. Despite its flaws, the movie is beautiful and will preserve the essence of RENT for years after it closes.

Anthony- Thank you so much for being so involved with the blog and posting on BWW. It has really made me feel so much more connected.

Tracie- I'm so glad that you joined the cast. I, too, have become so accustomed to having the blog to check, it will be hard to not have it around.

Idina- You're cool. I like you. Come back to theater after you record your album, okay?

Adam- The scene during What You Own on the cliff with your hair blowing in the wind is...priceless. :)

Wilson, Jesse, Taye, Rosario- I lub you all!

This made me cry. Knowing that I won't be able to come here everyday and connect with the cast, crew, and other fans is really hard. You have all changed my life so much.

Taye-If there's one thing I'll always remember about you from these blogs, it's how funny you are. When I was having a bad day I would reread your blogs and watch your videos. And watch out, because if I ever meet you, I'm going to ask for fashion advice!

Anthony-I can't thank you enough. Just like Jesse said, you have devoted yourself to the fans and made sure we were informed on everything. Your wisdom has inspired me so much. You are truly the essence of Rent. Thank you so much.

Adam-You have grown so much as a performer since the original production, and it amazes me of how talented you are. Just listening to you singing is a great experience. I can't wait to see what you achieve in the future, because I know it will be something great.

Rosario-You know, at first I was a little iffy about you as Mimi, I won't lie. But after watching you, my fears went away. You have so much talent and were perfect for this role. You are so funny as well. I hope you plan to do some Broadway as well, because you would be excellent. Congratulations!

Jesse-So even if the Academy decides to be stupid and not nominate you, you will still have won an Oscar in my heart. In my opinion, you put on the best performance. There is nothing like the feeling I get when I watch or hear you singing I'll Cover You Reprise. Thank you for sharing the love and your talent. Haha. Your great and I love you!
