hey this is my first time on this site and i can't get enough of it i think the movi is the best one of all time. it is all about life and love. so thanks to ALL who made the movie u should be proud!!

I was lucky enough to see the movie on November 17th, And it was AMAZING, there where a few changes, but none the less, It was deffinitly worth the wait.

You guys are an inspiration to so many people. Thank you so much for doing what you do and spreading this amazing message with such grace and passion.

I am so excited for this movie. I think it is the perfect Thanksgiving release because it demonstrates the importance of being thankful without being wrapped up in cheesiness. I am encouraging all my friends and family to go see this movie.

I've got a whole crew of RENT-heads out here in Los Angeles lined up to see the midnight screening in Westwood. I've been waiting forever! I've seen the show 8 times, but never with the original cast. (Though I did get to sit in the front center seat to see Adam in Aida on Broadway) I can't begin to explain my excitement...

Seeing it tomorrow at the Ziegfeld!! 12am...who else will be there? I am pumped!! No songbooks needed for me...I know all the words to everything by heart..and i WILL be singing along..oh yes...i will be singing!! Only about 30 more hours!!

Thank you, you are so inspirational. It is so moving to hear the cast members talk with such affection and joy about the project that I adore so much! Is the blogging going to end when the movie comes out? Because I'll be so bummed if it does!!

Anthony, very very touching. Your latest video entries have brought tears to my eyes. All of your (cast members) interpretations are what this show is all about. Love, compassion, tolerance, not feeling alone, loss/grief, and making the most of each day are universal. How we deal with all of these issues and knowing that we're not alone on our quest through life is important. I hope people who aren't familiar with this story will walk away from the movie with a better idea of the potentiality of the human race when we embrace love, compassion, tolerance, and help each other. Only then will we grow stronger.

Like many others, I cannot wait for to see this movie! The message of love, community, and life that Jonathan Larson portrays through RENT has changed my life drastically, and I hope (I know) that it will do the same for a new generation. God bless Jonathan Larson and everyone who has made this "musical phenomenon" come to life, for you have changed mine.

Sooooo excited! The theatre club at my school is planning dinner and a movie on wednesday for RENT. This will be my first time seeing RENT as I have only listened to the soundtrack thus far. I'm hoping for a life-changing experience!

Well, two days. I'm freaking out. Everyone is, I think. Just a question, are you guys going to post anything after the movie? It's been such fun reading all these updates, from the very first blog all the way up to these clips and videos and everything. It's such a great site!

Ahhh I know I already said this but TWO DAYS??!? How CRAZY is that? I remember when it was like, 200 and something and we found out about the release date!

I loved everybody on Ellen today! First off, I LOVE that show because Ellen is just, the most hilarious person ever, so I watch it a lot. And second, It was so pretty with the skyline in the background! But anyway, I <3333 it. The intros were awesome, especially your's Taye!

My grandma really did think you were Denzel Washington too. She called me to ask me about how I never told her Denzel was in the show, so I had to clear that up for her....

I know I must of said this before on other blog for this rent, but I am one of the new one's when it come to the movie I have not seen the orginal, or nor was I planning to, but I seen enough of the video and liston to the music over and over and over, and I have to agree, you do have to live for the day, I don't have an sickness or anything like that, but something happen to me this past september, and my life flash right before my eye's so we do have to live for the day, cause you never know what may happen tomorrow, I am truly looking forward to seeing this movie. And guys thanks for everything, your words or meaning of how you feel or what we should take away from this movie was awesome.

I hope you guys realize just how much it is that you're giving the world with this movie. *hits self* Of course you do, much better than I do. =P It's just absolutely amazing that SO many more people will be able to experience this and that Jonathan's messages will be spread to so many. It's amazing. It's wonderful.

I can just imagine myself, Wednesday night, walking into that theater and then the lights going dark and the first chords of SOL coming on...oh man it's too much to even think about. I get all shivery whenever I do, hehe.

It's bittersweet that the movie is about to be released. I've seen it already, and it's fantastic-- mind-blowing. I of coarse can not wait to see it every day once it's released...but I'm sad that the blogs will end and we won't get to hear from you guys anymore! You guys all inspire me in different ways...I've become more immersed in this show then ever before. Rosario kills me...I love how she didn't just glance and walk away, she did a whole show! I hate to focus on just one person because you ALL are amazing..but Tracie, you inspire me!! Your voice is out of this world...I have a habit of scanning back to listen to your solos over and over again. I rushed home to catch you guys on Ellen, but when I got there it was just "How about, loooove" then commerical..then Cinday Lauper (sp?). I was pretty bummed. Wow! Loved the video!! I can't wait until the premier! Just the music of RENT has inspired me to no end. It's my favorite musical thus far, and I am so in awe of Idina Menzel. I would love to meet her, and it would be a dream if she would help me with my singing. Definitely need some help with the belt. Not quite to her standards yet! EXCITED!!

I am so jealous of everyone!! I live in Japan and who knows when it is going to open here but as soon as I get home for Christmas I will be watching Rent as much as possible. I's boiling down isn't it?...the time is almost here!!!!!...it is unbelievable how much i cant wait to see the people i have come to love....truely...no day but today...

First off, thank you all for continually seeking a way to communicate with we fans. It really means a lot to me and everyone else I've spoken with.

Secondly, I'd like to say that I have seen the movie (I was lucky enough to be at the Interlochen charity benefit on Saturday) and you all were amazing. I could hardly speak after it and cannot even describe in words how much I loved it.

Rosario - ahahaha <3 Your goofiness is appreciated. You were the best Mimi I've seen. I loved the sauciness. :D You fit perfectly.

Tracie - The Tango was incredible. You had such good chemistry with Idina and Anthony. it was like you'd always been there!

Idina - I was practically crying from laughter during Over the Moon.

Jesse - You were hilarious. I could not stop laughing at your lines.

Wilson - You just...ah. Words sound frivolous. Your preformace was incredible. Heartbreaking.

Adam - Wonderful. "One Song Glory" was incredibly powerful. And "Without You." Just wow.

I've never seen RENT -- I got to 'know' it by the OBC CD and various pictures I've seen. A friend of mine turned me on to RENT when we were in school together and she'd seen it. I poured over the pictures and programs. Now, finally, after all these years, it'll finally be brought to life for me. What makes it even more special to me is having most of the OBC reprising their original roles since I missed out on seeing them when RENT first started.

You're all amazing and inspirational people. I can't think of any other group of actors who gives so much back to their fans. You guys bring tears to my eyes.

The blogs have been wonderful. It's so great to see the serious sides, but also see that you all are having so much fun with this. Rosario and Tracie blend in perfectly.

Thank you so much to all of you for remembering us fans and giving us such a wonderful gift in this site, the movie and sharing your tremendous talents.

wow!! I almost don't know what to say. I have been waiting for this for so long that I can't belive that it is almost here.

I agree that that in some ways it bittersweet. I have gotten to the point that i look forward to Mondays and Wensdays. I can't remember the last time there were a group of actors who cared so much for their fans. Even the fans i'm going to miss reading you comments.

I'm taking my oldest sister to see it. She doesn't really know the story, I hope it grabs her the way it did me.

Last of all I just wanted to tell everyone who worked the film thanks for all the hard work, I don't know if you really know how much it ment to all of us.

OMG you have no idea how excited i am to see this film i loved the musical and i listen to the soundtrack everyday....im going to the 1045 am showing tom and then the 135 and then the 615pm I LOVE IT!

Wow! The excitement of going to see this film is driving me wild! I can't wait to see the movie. I know nothing can ever compare to the inspired stage production, but I'm sure that these actors have been blessed in putting this into a screen play. I can't wait!

I just came home from the movie! Two hours ago... But still!

It was really weird. The theater was almost silent, which to me means that most of the people watching it had never seen it before or had never heard it before, because my friend and I pretty much quoted the entire thing. When the end came, though, a lot of people clapped, so that was good.

I think we were the only ones who stayed through the credits and the thank you to Jonathan, though. Yay for hardcore RENTheads!
