W-O-W! Thanks for the vid! I actually watched this movie the other day with a good friend of mine at the special sneak peak...and it was AWESOME! It made me laugh and cry...just like the OBC...If you guys think that Rentheads are CRAZY...you should've seen the turnout here.... 200 people couldn't come in because the theater was too full! Anyway, thank you for making this crazy Renthead happy! Great job, Idina, Rosario, Tracie, Adam, Anthony, Taye, Wilson and Jesse, you all were amazing! Aloha and Mahalo from Hawaii!

To the OBC: I love you all. You've inspired me to be more than I am, and (I am 14) more than I have yet to be. I listen to my OBCR so much it's getting scratched just from spinning so frantically in my CD player, and I cry every time.

I know that I have said this before, but Rent has been important to me for a long time. Now Rent is starting to me something just as important but all new and i'm connecting in ways I never knew.

I'm from Teaxs so I don't very often get to go to NYC and see the shows when they first appear on stage. The movie is bringing a fresh group of fans were too young or have never been to any stage performence. Thanks for sharing Rent with both new and old fans alike.

im pretty sure that rent is goin to be the best movie ever, i never knew there was soo many fans like me,! wow amazing only one week to go (8,665.41 minutes!!!!!!!)

Back in 1997 (or maybe it was 98) a friend and I ditched high school to try to get half price tickets to see Rent. There weren't any so we saw Jesus Christ Superstar. In 2000 another friend and I blew off a day of college classes to do the same and succeeded. IT WAS AMAZING. This coming wednesday I might just have to cut medical school to catch the movie opening day...yeah, i know...i wouldn't want me as my doctor either! You all ROCK!!!

I think that November 23 should be a national holiday. that was awesome you guys. I wish I could be there tomorrow, but for some strange reason, my parents don't want to fly to NY from CA on a school day. Crazy. Well, that was awesome and I can't wait to see the movie!!!!

I just saw the movie at the advanced screening in Indy and it was AMAZING. I'll be honest, at first I was seriously doubting the movie- i didn't know how i felt about the music cuts and changes... but it was done so well... I really think I could get more into the story and the characters were defined so well! Thank you Chris Columbus, you just etched rent into stone!

hi everyone! I got to go to the premiere tonight and let me just tell you, the movie is FANTASTIC. you're going to love it!! i first saw RENT in 1996 with the original cast, and i was NOT disappointed by the film adaption. hooray!

Well for like the 432543th time, you guys were roughly 45 mintutes away from me, and I COULDN'T GO!! If you did thease things on weekends, my life would suck soooooo much less! I think we should just get married, that would remedy the situation. So this is official:

Cast of Rent-- I love you, and couldn't imagine spending another day without you. Will you marry me? OR BETTER YET! "Will you commit to being with me and only me, for the rest of our lives?"

I expect a response ASAP of coarse. The movie is sickeningly close to release...and I can't WAIT!! I think I'll be single handedly paying for all of your next vacations. I don't know how I will stop myself from seeing it every day! And I tell everybody with ears that they have no choice but to see it, and they won't be able to go on living if they don't. And I'm sure after they see it, they will (as I did) purchase the soundtrack right away! So there you have it, your personal 18 year old advertisor! If you'd like me to stand in the freezing cold wearing a sandwitch-board with a countdown to the release..I"ll do it. I'm THAT passionate about this movie, it had a major impact on me.
I thank you ALL for your AWE-STRIKING TALENT!! FINALLY there's a musical movie with real singers...and real broadway stars! Keep this on the DL-- but i thought the singing in Phantom of the Opera was appalling...and I was overwhelmed at the difference between thease two recent musical films. I love you all sooo sooo much, and maybe one day I'll finally run into one of you....Traci and Jesse, you live in NYC, right? I WENT TO THE RENT PREMIERE!!!! AMAZING!!!! I AM A DEEP, DARK RENT HEAD!!!!! AND, REST ASSURED, YOU ARE GOING TO LOOOVE IT!!

Wow guys. I was in Chicago last weekend with a huge group of journalists and we were given a FREE SCREENING of RENT. And just so you all know, IT IS SO FREAKIN' AMAZING! I fully encourage everyone on the planet to go. My friends and I had a very hard time controlling ourselves; there were a lot of tears. It is an amazing movie. Props! -Caitlin

I hope you guys had a great time at the RENT premiere! I wish I could have had the oppurtunity to be there for the event, but unfortunately I knew it wasn't going to happen. The cast looked beautiful and handsome nonetheless.

Thank you for those descriptions. I was out at lunch the other day and I was explaining all the characters in relationship to each other. It's so great to see that my friends have really taken an interest. For example, they purchased "Seasons of Love" when it came out on Itunes because they knew I had a solo on it.
I had a small thing that I carry around with me everywhere in my wallet... it's a folded up thing with pictures from the movie, which I got at the Broadway Flea Market. That is how the conversation started, and it was nice to see them generally interested about each character. They also recognized a couple of the cast members, because of movies & TV. They recognized Adam because I have a pic with him in my room & I watched School of Rock just for him, haha.

It's really coming down to crunching... I can count the number of days left on one hand! Thank you for continuing with these updates, it makes us feel so different from any other movie experience, and it is different for a reason. Thank you for giving us inspiration to get the message out to the rest of the world.

I got to go into the premier last week to. It was amazing you guys are gonna love the movie. Some of us hung around for a few minutes afterwards and were lucky enough to take pics and talk to the cast. Rosario Dawson is the sweetest person on the planet. The movie was great..enjoy!

omg i cant wait fer trw i love this flim ive already see the early previews and its amazing but i have to say i can so relate u roger and mim bc i use to have osme probelms w drugs but them i found my boyfriend and my problems kinda went away i gave it all up for him cause i loved him so much

I went to an advanced screening last night and all I can say is AMAZING! Congratulations - this movie is bound to be a sucess and bring RENT to some many more people. THANK YOU!

I just wanna say that when I first saw rent at the Shubert theather in Boston back in 97' I was TOTALLY hooked. The last time I went to see it was last summer at the Wang Theater. I felt the same emotion I did when I first saw it seven years ago. Nothing and no one has made me feel that same feeling that can last THAT long. I am very happy for the original cast that gets to re-live this musical phenomenon that made RENT waht it is today. I was almost in tears when I heard RENT was coming to the big screen. I hope you are all happy that you get to share RENT with everyone again in a totally new way.

Wilson Jermaine Heredia has quickly become one of my favorite actors .The portrayal of Angel can never be performed quite the same by anyone else.What a load it must have been for an actor (who happens to be heterosexual)to deliver such a graceful and truly delicate performance.He has touched me in ways that not many artist have even come close to.God bless Mr.Heredia.

I connected in a deep way with everyone, as if despite where I am physically, my heart is always there as a community. This has been the most special and deep show I've seen in years, and brought tears to my eyes, and makes me want to reach out and hug all of you. You're all so wonderful in the characters you portrayed, and the depth and richness you portrayed them. I feel a relationship of similiar interests and though I'm 35, I also feel a bit lost as the characters seemed to be, esp. as they were in their 20's and while seeking to be away from their parents, the world is overwhelming to them. I want to know in detail about the original true story this comes from. This comes at a time when a dear friend of mine passed at 61 who led a Worktalk group helping people through job and personal transitions. I regret I wasn't able to touch her in ways that would give her a better q.o.l.. THANK YOU again for touching me so deeply. Love you all. Happy thanksgiving!!!

OMG!! I thought I knew Jesse L Martin, but this film was seriously opened my eyes. I have so much respect for him now. He already was one of my favorite actors, since I watch Law and Order every day since you've been on, re runs as well. But now, I have to say I respect you as a mentor for my acting, and if I ever run into you, I will be honored.
WILSON! Oh my lord, that was one of the best performances by anyone, in ANYTHING! THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN! You have truly changed the way I see Angel, and I am truly honored to have been able to watch such a life changed movie, because for my acting, I feel it was one of the best performances, ever.
Adam, I have too much to say... Love you man... Your amazing.... Your a sweetheart, and all my friends have crushes on you, I have to say, I may be the next to fall victim to you!! LOL!

These blog videos are so much fun to watch over and over. I love all of you guys. Thank you Chris for casing these guys. You all have amazing voices. I love the music that wasnt in the movie too (the stuff from the broadway). Rosarios.. you look like the girl who does my hair, as wierd and random as that is.. and Adam, you look like someone that I work with :). You are all so amazing, I cant say that enough.
