I saw the film last night at a screening and it was AMAZING. Rosario did an awesome job. Her dance scene in "Out Tonight" is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Congratulations on a job well done.

To be completely honest, I was dissapointed when I heard that Daphne Ruben-Vega wasn't going to play the role of Mimi in the movie. I was worried that whoever they were going to get wouldn't be able to sing or act or anything.

And to be frank, the entire show would be ruined if Mimi wasn't good, regardless how spectacular the rest of the cast was.

Thank God they found you Rosario. I was shocked when I heard your vocals. Your voice has a wonderfully pure tone and your acting is first rate. I'm going to be watching for you in the future! Thank you so much for living up to all our expectations and beyond. We love you Rosario.

Wow hey! this is so cool! my parents saw RENT when it first came out in '96 and they fell in love with it. I was this little six year old who didn't understand what any of it meant and yet i would dance around my living room singing "What You Own" until my voice was hoarse. Now, almost ten years later, I understand the meaning of the production and it has affected my life so much....and i'm still dancing around my living room singing "What You Own" plus all of the other songs in the play. I honestly have every single word memorized. I just love it so much! I cannot wait to see the movie...OPENING DAY haha! I'm such a big fan of all of you guys! I listen to the Wicked soundtrack religiously and well, Taye Diggs is in some of my favorite movies ever! I'm pretty much in love with you all really! Hey guys, I've been fairly silent all along but I'm a huge RENT fan also, saw the show 4 times on tour and 3 times on Broadway. I got to see a pre-screening of the film last night in Knoxville, TN and want to say YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. It was excellent! The cast was incredibly passionate and though we all know their names and stories, all I could see when I watched the movie were the characters!

Initially, it was awkward watching this as a film because I had seen the stage production so many times; I was constantly comparing every word, every scene, everything to how it played out onstage. When I finally focused on it being a movie, I was able to feel the same way about the movie that I did the first time I saw the stage production!!!!!

If I had half of that talent I wouldn't know what to do with myself. I am incredibly jealous and astonished!!! All my love!!

wowwww; FANTASTIC on-screen chemistry between adam and rosario !! verrrrry realistic, i feel like i'm there with them sharing in the passion, it's so raw and real, pheonomenal job everyone! and i absolutly cannot WAIT to see their romance as well as everything else on film on nov. 23rd!! and i will SOO be at the theater at midnight!! heck yes!!!

i just posted about 5 seconds ago and it is necessary that i do it again to let everyone know that.. i've seen the trailer(s) on tv about 6,000 times and each one i've seen is different! and i love that because when i hear the opening notes of the trailer it makes my jaw drop each and every time i see it.. making every time like the first. good idea to make multiple trailer/teasers etc.

and i'd also like give a huge thank you to everyone involved in RENT for keeping all of us die-heard rent-heads updated in everything that's going on, it is greatly appreciated, more than you might ever know. it really makes us fans feel like we're apart of the experience. it also makes us realize how much you all truly care about us as fans, you're not just famous people with your heads in the clouds, you're down to earth people who are doing something special, and sharing it with the world. thank you for everyhing and all the hard work you've put in, i absolutly KNOW that your work will pay off, and as a matter of fact, i think these hundreds or thousands of comments have already shown you that indeed your work has and will continue to pay off.

wow...i'm so excited about the movie coming out, and every entry just makes it worse! however, i'm stuck here in southern md, and i can't find any info on who's going to be showing the movie..does anyone have any clue?

Oh my God, I can hardly wait. My son got me hooked on Rent years ago and we have seen it many, many times on tour. I can hardly wait for the video. At least he is in NY and can see it next week. I have to wait til the 23rd like most fans. A buddy and I who work in a local high school are going to go together. With our fanatacism, others are begging to tag along. I told them "Don't try and stop me from singing or you have to move. Who needs to stay home and get ready for Thanksgiving, right?

i have went to see rent once a year for the last seven years hoping someday i would be able to bring it home because it has always been my dream to be in it. even if it is the part of opening and closing the curtain or giving someone water. i cry everytime i see it i dont if it's because of the amazing story or if it's because i want to be a part of it so bad. someday i hope. well awesome job to everyone in the movie i cant wait to see it

i saw an early screening of this movie YESTURDAY and it was INCREDIBLE!!! i cried several times and am in love with rosario and adam!! It's awesome...you'll LOVE it :) !!

I just saw the movie on Friday in Chicago and it was AMAZING. Even better than I thought it would be. Rosario was wonderful and perfect for the role. Her voice is beautiful, as we can all tell from the soundtrack. I can't wait to see it again come Thanksgiving!

oh rosario fantastic i loved it and i can't wait for the movie, me and my freinds are big rent heads and we do musicals all the time we were part of a performing arts school and well after we graduated we heard that rent was coming to the screen and we all swore we would all come back to our small town and see it together. i can't wait.. i'll be rooting for you.

I got to see a screening of Rent this weekend, and you were SPECTACULAR!! I have so much respect for you after seeing you play this role. You even made me cry a couple of times...ahhhh.

I just wanted to say that I saw a Broadway production of RENT in New York City two years ago and it changed my life. I used to be so closed minded about homosexuality, but for some reason that helped me understand things better. I remember after I saw the play I was wishing that someone would make it into a movie and my wish came true...i am so excited that after my one class on Wednesday, November 23, before I go home for thanksgiving break I'm going to see it, the first showing! I intend to see it as many times as I possibly can, until it is not in theaters. When I think about RENT it symbolizes a happy memory and I am just glad that I can relive it. Thank you so much for making it into a movie. I'm SURE its gonna be GREAT!

Rosario, you've nailed Mimi's character more so than any of us Rentheads could've hoped. Thank you for such dedication to the true spirit ofthe character, and for your own spirited performance. You rock the world!!

The movie was WONDERFUL!! It meant so much to me. I have loved RENT since it first came out, when I was 16. Rosario, you were superb!!
