This blog is phenomanal. It's so personal. Every movie should reach out to the fans like the RENT blog. Videos like this give me such a connection that it turns from being their movie to our movie. Fantastic.

I'm so excited to see how April is worked into the film.... can anyone give us any hints??

And shenanigans are just what we like. :) I don't think I've mentioned enough times yet just how much we all appreciate you guys and this awesome blog -- it's so great to feel like we're part of the creative process too. Plus... Anthony rocks. I've seen Matt Caplan in the role of Mark so often that it will be intriguing to see Anthony finally playing Mark -- Matt has sort of merged in my mind with Mark's character, though Anthony's voice will always be THE Mark-voice. It's time to shake it up -- yet ANOTHER reason why I can't wait for the movie. (My roommate is getting annoyed with the minute-countdown on the site... you guys make it too easy for RENTheads to become stalkers. ;)

I love the wall of pictures. Of course the "diehard" Idina fans will flip out over the ones of her. But I have to say the Adam love fest is beautiful. The picture of Adam sleeping hahhaha that made me giggle. I'm happy to hear that shenanigans went on...if there wasn't anything I would have been upset. No bloopers or gag reels for the dvd *cries*

I love Anthony! I can't say it enough! I think that the blog is amazing. I think that all of us RENTheads would be going out of our mind right now without it! I'm personally looking forward to the DVD release almost as much as I am looking forward to the movie. I think that all of the video blogs should be included on the DVD, along with a 'making of' and a feature like 'the story behind RENT' with the history of the show, JONATHON, OF COURSE!!!! and clips of the OBC performing almost a decade ago! Bloopers and interviews are a must! We RENTheads are obsessed and we wouldn't accept anything less! Please keep up the blog with video blogs and notes from the cast. It really helps us get through these LONG months, weeks and days until the movie. Thank you!

Who wants to see official, made-for-the-DVD blogs go down? Not I. It's always sort of a comforting thing to see that you all really are human and like to have fun. Thanks for the makeup trailer tour! I love the pictures on the wall... it must be nice to reminisce from all younger days, and I'm glad hair and makeup put up pictures to make the makeup trailer look more homely. I first heard about rent when i was about 14 years old. Since then i've driven my friends absolutely nuts. I was pregnant when I found out that Rent was coming out and i literally landed myself in the hospital because i got so excited! I was actually arguing with one of my co-workers about the transition from stage to screen when my water broke! I can't wait to see the beautiful things that are done with the cinematography. As a stage actor myself, I will always hold the first time I saw Rent on stage near and dear to my heart but I truly believe that Jonathan's dream will be even more real and alive on 11/23/05.. Congrats!

PS Adam, how's your son? And shame on you for being so happy about leaving her with your poor wife! I'd knock my hunny upside his head for that! :P

I wanted to tell you all this for so long. Anyone who is involved with RENT is a hero to me. The first time i ever saw it was when it came to Hawaii on tour, and it completely changed my life. I am a dancer actor and writer, and the day i saw RENT it gave me meaning of what I was doing in my life. I decided that if i could ever affect a person how RENT and the performers affected me than it is all worth it. All the hardships it takes to get to that moment. It's amazing enough that we get to be artissts but when we can use art in a posative way and to change somebody, then it makes it all worth it. A funny thing happened: I have been waiting for this movie for ever, and while filming in San Francisco, my aunt met Rosaio Dawson at a gay mexican restaurant and had dinner with her and her her mother!! AND this all happened ONE WEEK before i got to the city. I just about died when she told me. It is my all time favorite show and the irony of it!!!!! anyway thank you all for making this film, and hopfully one day my art will affect someone as Rent has me. Peace.

Anyways, I wanted to say that I am a first time blogger and I wanted to say that I am inspired each time that I go and look at things on this site and the main one. Make up trailers, green rooms, random rehearsal studios... pretty much anywhere is fair game for actors and their shenanigans. What a blast! I must say I am very dissapointed, however, in all this New York love thing going on. Every day you all do something totally awesome in New York, and all us West Coast people just have to day dream that one day, you will hop across company to grace us with your presence (Filming doesn't count!). Los Angeles loves Rent too! I just caught up on all the vids and Wilson said that if we needed anything, just ask. So! Is it possible for you guys to do a super cool awesome LA performance? And of course, don't forget the middle states. Stop by in Minnesota or arkansas too.

Well, thanks for being awesomely cool, making little videos, writing little notes, and making a movie that so many people care about. It rocks my socks.
