They're so gorgeous! I wish I could've been at the Today show, but I was busy getting good seats for Bryant Park. I TiVoed it, though, and it was amazing! I'm so glad that they did "What You Own" - Anthony is most definitely the sexiest person ever born.

Bryant Park was amazing. I was second row center, and the cast was so great that it was worth the three hours I spent in the heat. If you're reading this, I love you guys, and I can't wait for the movie.

Wow, thanks so much for posting this because yes, my alark clak chose THAT morning to break down. You guys are life-savers.

The performance was spectacular! "Seasons of Love" was beautiful as always - special props to Traci and Jessi for their incredible solos. They loved you two! And the rest of the cast rocked my world as well.

Adam and Anthony - you two are excellent! Anthony, your vocals knocked me out, and Adam your stage presence and voice are FANTASTIC.

Hehe, did anyone see Idina claim her man in that video? That honestly made my day. No one's getting near Taye, huh? :) And I totally saw Rosario and Traci throwing a party. And Wilson - I just love you. *hugs*

theres no way possible i could have forgotten to tape this :). I was up at 5 waiting for it to come on like a loser. Unfortunately, I couldn't go to the Today Show, but I got to Bryant Park. The performance was INCREDIBLE despite the heat. It was just unbearable, onlyyy for RENT. Unfortunately, my mom wouldn't stay any longer so I couldnt meet anyone which was a downer, but i'm definitely happy that I got to be there, because it's better then nothing.

BTW-- Tracie, if you read this.. you are an AMAZINGG sinnger, glad your here.. Rosario- your mom is CRAZY (but in a good way) shes adorable, it made the wait that much better having her there. You guys should definitely add all these performances to special features when the DVD comes out, please consider it. It would be like the most amazing DVD everrr<3<3. Okay so this post is way too long for words-- but you all did amazing, idina, taye, jesse (wish you were there, damn Law & Order--your a firecracker on that show ;) ), wilson, anthony, and adam, you all were amazing, there are no words. Cant wait till November<3.

I was at the Today Show and Bryant Park, was definetely the best day of my life! I never thought i would be able to MEET the original cast, and my dream came true. Thank you SO much!!!

I hope Bryant Park clips come out too of the entire songs soon! I woke up early just to make sure that I saw the Today Show. I also recorded it too. I loved the two different songs that they sang for the show. I love the idea of the RENT cast already doing things for the movie is so exciting. I've already asked my manager [I work at the movie theatre] to get the posters and advertisements for RENT when they get it. I asked him the first day I worked there, and he found it very amusing. He said around 4 weeks or so advertisements should go up. Anyway, I love the RENT posters that were at the Today show, and I hope they go on sale soon!

But yeah, I am so excited about the movie but I'm really pissed that it's coming out the 23rd instead of the 11th becuase my birthday is on the 12th and now I can't see it on my birthday unless I drive to NY! Waaaah!

I've never actually seen the show becuase I can't afford to go up to NY and see it, but i've listened to the soundtrack a zillion times and I've read the script and everything so I am so p[syched about the movie since it will give me the opportunity to kind of see the show.

The "Today" show performance was incredible, as well as that great performance video from Byrant Park. Makes me more excited to see the film... you all have done such a great time to get us closer!

Even though I've only seen the national tour twice, I never got to see it up in New York - but my dad and stepmom got to see that original cast! But the important thing is that it's an amazing show and the movie will be ten times as amazing! Thanks again!

The first time I saw the musical on the stage I fell in love. Now everytime I hear the music I fall in love over and over again. The cast is perfect. It is like your best pair of jeans that make you feel so great... I can't wait to see the movie.

OMG!!!! I couldn't go to New York to see it but I did wake up at six in the morning to watch it. Seasons of love was FANTASTIC!!!! I never got to see Bryant Park but my friend was there! Since I had to go to work, I did not get a chance to flip through the channels. Thanks a lot for the videos!, cause I am in Spain, and, of course, I couldnt go to NYC to see that great show, but it was so good to have it here, and I am so glad to see that it seems like the time hasnt passed since I saw them in Broadway(Rosario and Tracey were not there then, but they are sooo good and I am happy that they are a part of RENT cast now).

RENT meant a lot to me for many reasons: when I saw it in Broadway with the original cast many years ago, it was the best moment of my trip, and it helped me a lot in many ways, I have never forgotten that day and the great talent that all the cast have, so I am sooooo happy for the movie and I am sure its gonna be awesome.

I wish them the best, cause they deserve ir.

THANKS again for sharing with us your huge talent, and use it to make everybody ´s life happier.

I just want to say what an absolutely amazing experience it was to SEE Adam and Anthony sing "What You Own" on the Today show. I say "see" because I never got to see Rent on Broadway. I caught a traveling cast when they came to Orlando, Florida, and immediately bought the original Broadway soundtrack. I've fallen in love with Adam and Anthony's voices without ever seeing them actually sing the songs - what a treat to finally have that privilege.

I think that this soundtrack will win an Oscar for best soundtrack, right next to the Tony for the same thing.

I woke up at 4:00am on Thursday with my three friends and we were one of the first people to be at the park, in fact the park wasn't opened yet. We waited seven and a half hours to see the cast of RENT and it was well worth it. Tracy was amazing, and I thought it was so cool that Rosario sat with us in the middle of the crowd. I looked at the New York Daily News on August 5th and me and my two friends were the only fans they showed in the Newspaper. I guess waking up at the crack of dawn will do that for you. You guys are awesome! Keep up the good work! To Wilson, Adam, Anthony, Rosario, Idina, Taye, Jessie, and Tracy, I hope to see you again sometime soon. Your an inspiration to us all!

I was lucky enough to see the Bryant Park performance and get pictures of the cast!
When they were finished performing Wilson came right over to me, and I asked him for a picture and then he had to go talk to someone but said he would come back. He then started signing other autographs and when I asked him for a picture again he said "yeah, I promised you before, hold on just one sec, I'll be right there"...I about DIED!!!

Wilson if you read this...you are the most beautiful person on the planet, inside and out, and you totally made my day! I told you that you were wonderful when we talked and I will think that for the rest of my life!

Does anyone know why on Earth they would choose to put these clips up on a format that isn't Mac compatible? I can't tell you how many RENTheads I know that are Mac people... To those who asked about the movie coming out on DVD, of course it will. If you are going by the "only in theaters" thing on the trailer, all movies have that and it just means that the trailer is for the initial theatrical release.

I'm sure the film will come out on dvd, why would it not seeing as there are hundreds of thousands of RENTheads that would die to get their hands on a copy of it on dvd.

I also have to share my frustration of not being able to watch the videos because i'm a mac user. "Seasons Of Love" is being promoted on itunes, but yet you choose to not make the video available to mac people? Doesn't seem very fair, now does it? Disappointing.

I loved the performance on the Today Show and was ecstatic to see What You Own performed by Anthony and Adam, even if it was only on my TV. I've been a huge fan since I saw the show in Boston, when I was in eigth grade. The music from the show has helped me through good time and bad and I can't wait to see the film, especially since most of the originally cast is reprising their roles. I'm starting college this fall and have already started building a group to go to the show.

Idina Menzel is my HERO!!!!!!!!!! I can only pray to one day be as talented as she is. I saw her in Wicked in one of her last performances. I bought the cd because of the Tony Awards and then had to travel from Arkansas to NYC JUST TO SEE HER before she left. I cried before it started and all the way until the end, not just because it was touching but because her voice touched my heart and not to mention I AM Elphaba. I cannot wait to see her in Rent. I bought the cd of the original cast and I am singing Take Me of Leave Me in my competition in New York. I love you Idina!!!! You are my hero!!!!

There is something so wonderful about this music because you never get tired of listening to these songs! The messages in these songs are timeless and it's time for the world to learn that there is "No day but today!"

In a movie theater lobby (After seeing Dukes Of Hazzard!)...On big flat screens, I hear the notes and see the (now familiar) Anthony's Bike turning the corner by the Life Cafe...In the movie theater lobby...I started singing, clapping, and all the other crazy stuff we RentHeads do during Seasons of Love!! Nevermind the 20 people staring at me!!

Just wanted to say how truly amazing it was to watch you all perform! You guys did an amazing job on the Today show...I was seriously almost in tears I really wish I could have been there and believe you me if I was old enough to drive (and my mother would have let me (doubtful)) i would have been up there in a New York Minuet.
Tracie you had an amazing solo!!! Girl you can SING!!! same goes to you Jesse!!! just amazing. Oh and AWESOME job on What You Own Adam and Anthony!!! I was also watching clips from Bryant park and Tracie and Idina you two were SOOOOO cute in Take Me Or Leave Me!!!! Oh and Taye nice comment "It's amazing to work with me" ha-ha that was so cute, and I bet its true. I can't forget Wilson...you still look better in high heals than I do! and Rosario...so glad your in rent, I couldn't think of anyone that could take over Mimi's role and then you came along....I WAS SO WRONG your perfect for the role!!!

I wish that they had more footage from Bryant Park on Broadway.com! Although there were some clips shown from Bryant Park, I would have loved to see the entire thing somehow! What I saw, however was absolutely FABULOUS! I especially congratulate Tracie! Her voice sounds identical to the trailer live. It is just spectacular! Everyone seems so in love with what they are doing. It is refreshing to see such a passionate group of people.

I watched a home video of Seasons of Love from Bryant Park on Idinamenzel.net and Wilson sang Jesse's part in Seasons of Love. He did an amazing job!! I guess Jesse couldnt be there.

I actually played drums in the broadway show Rent several times and I'm good friends with the bass player from the show, Steve Mack.

I love this show so much and I actually got the chance to meet and perform with Traci Thoms a month or so ago. A great girl and a great talent...

Thank you so much for bringin' the Rent love to Canada and have the earlier showing in Toronto. Because cleary...this is the place to be. Speaking of, Idina, you should have a concert here. I will personally bring about a 1000 people who will come see you in concert. How's that for Canadian lovin'!

I LOVE RENT!

Wow. I have been following this for so long and anybody who knows me has heard at least one of the songs. I am so excited. I actually met someone last night who knew a little about musicals and she said "did you know that RENT is coming out in theaters in" and I cut her off giving her the exact date and aprox. min. till it was out. I am so thrilled I can't wait to take everybody I know to see this life changing musical!

i went to the performance @ the today show, and it was amazing. i was stanging directly to rosarios left side, right off the stage. after they performed,i got taye, idina, rosario, anthony, adam, wilson, and tracys autographs. it was amazing, they all signed my Rent book. pic on profile for nychillkidd on yahoo

Hola everyone! Ever since I found the "What You Own" video about two weeks ago, when I first came here, guess what I was watching everyday? It's just incredible, I was totally speechless. As for the Bryant Park Video, I also love that. The fact that Tracie was getting all emotional was so sweet, because that's how I get when I see the video blogs. Everyone was so amazing, but then again, what do you expect? This is only one of the best casts for a film or musical I've ever seen. As for the shirt swap between Anthony and Wilson, I'm not sure, but I am sure that they looked great. Anyway, thank you so much for letting us see all of this footage, it really means a lot to us, since it feels like we're really getting to know the cast a bit better.
