Rosario, thanks for the entry!! I have to say I was one of the many Rentheads that were a tad bit worried about how you would portray Mimi (singing wise). Even after Anthony said "Rosario can sing her a@@ off" on Access Hollywood, I still needed to hear you. But all doubts have been washed away and I'm anxiously awaiting the full versions of "Light My Candle" and "Out Tonight"... which are two of my favorite songs. You go girl!! :P

I so wish I could be up there with all those Rentheads when the movie finally comes out. But unfortunately, I'm currently living in the wrong country! So I'm really excited for the movie anyhow - which I will be seeing early 2006. It's truly amazing what a deep connection you all have with the fan base, and everyone appreciates and respects that. Thank you all SO much for these blogs. I was SO excited to see all of these videos, and it's so wonderful to hear that you all actually read our comments and take them seriously. It makes us RENTheads feel like part of a community :)

I know some people have been kinda upset about the new recordings, but frankly, i love them! Even though it's been a while since most of the OBC played their characters, I feel like they're even MORE their characters now as they've matured. Adam sounds amazing and so.... ROGER! ha!

Only problem with these blogs is that I'm in between classes right now, and instead of doing my homework like I should be doing, I've been watching and squealing at the blogs over and over and reading all the comments. But i'm not complaining... I'm excited bc my next class (here at the University of Georgia) is a seminar on theater and over our fall break (Oct. 27-30) we're going up to NYC to see 3 broadway shows! hurrah! So what I was wondering is if you guys are gonna be up in NY at that time and what you'll be doing, bc you KNOW i'd love to see you! (esp you adam, bc if you've been reading my comments, you KNOW i love you... omg, i sound so crazy :) haha)

Rosario, can I just say what a delight you are! I was standing off stage to your immediate left during your performance of "Seasons of Love" at the Today Show. It was impossible not to see the JOY you embody as the "newest" member of the RENT family. After seeing the movie trailer, listening to the "Out Tonight" clip, watching your fun blog videos and seeing firsthand the love you share with the film cast and fans, I can say you are, without hesitation... the PERFECT gal to be our "Mimi" on film! So...this is my first post. I've been nervous about posting and saying something reeeallly dumb, but I just listened to the samples from the soundtrack and had to say/type something.

I will admit, I was nervous at first about a movie of my favorite show. I've only seen the show once, but listen to the OBC all the time. When I found out you, one of my favorite actresses, were playing my favorite character from my favorite show, I about died. And now, with your blog-videos, we can all see your enthusuasm and energy and that you ARE Mimi.

Now, after listening to the clips on the main site, I cannot wait until November 23. If I could be in NYC on the 11th, I would so be in line. I cannot wait to see your performance and to see you belt out "Out Tonight." I still have shivers from listening. I'm thinking about listening again as soon as I'm through typing this. And...I will. Forget it. I'm listening now. And now I've realized how creepy this sounds and I'll finish up.

Sometimes I still can't grasp that the movie is being made. IS made. And whenever I do realize that it's coming out, I get a little tremor of excitement/anticipation. IT'S COMING OUT. And the soundtrack samples make it even more real and better than my wildest dreams. Thank you so much for your amazing work. And I'll stop with the creepy verexcitement.

Hey Rosario, I just got back from a preview of 'Two Gentlemen' in Central Park and before I even watched this video I needed to tell you how much I enjoyed the show, and of course, your performance! After a long day of waiting in line and then almost missing my chance to get a standby ticket 15 minutes before showtime (yikes), I was thrilled that the energy and fun you and the cast brought to the stage made every second worth it. This is starting to get repetitive, but Rosario sounds amazing on the audio tracks. I can't name another movie this fall that I have anywhere near as much interest in seeing and I love that the cast really seems to be behind the movie. I don't think I've ever seen a cast so committed to the film and the fans in such an open way. This blog is a must read.

It seems that most bloggers here are female so I decided to write something in order to add a liittle variety:)

First of, I just wrote to Anthony about how I feel about the movie. I wrote a lot and to sum it up I'm already in love with this film and April 28th (that's the Polish release date, dammit Polish distributors suck) can't come soon enough.

Please come to Poland to promote the film, you'll have blast, I promise.

On a more personal note, I think that you truly are among the most beautiful and talented (loved you in 'Sin City') actresses working today. I would use the word 'hot' but apparently some girls find this term offensive and the last thing I would wanna do is to offend you. And if that wasn't enough from your video blog entries you seem really smart, charming and funny. Do you have a boyfriend? If not, then I'm 21, I study law and I'm available:)

All jokes aside, I think you're great and the movie looks great, please give serious thougbt about coming to Poland. It's a lovely country.

It's great though, I've made plans to see the movie with about 5 different people already. =D I unfortunately couldn't go to Bryant Park or The Today Show but I did watch The Today Show at home. Very cool blog Rosario! I was sad I had to wait until I got back from vacation to see it. But, it made me happy to find this new trailer here and 8 blogs to watch! It made my day. Actually, days, because now its August 30th. Anyway. I cannot wait for this movie, I have already preordered the soundtrack, which my mom already gave me a lecture on how I should have waited until September because I don't even know if I'll like it or not. Yea, well I'm sorry but why on Earth WOULDN'T I like it? So, I am still on a RENT high from seeing it on Saturday at the Nederlander, which made me very happy. I love all your movies...The Rundown, Shattered Glass (even though you didn't have a main role, you were hillarious), you were beautiful in 25th Hour, and awesome as Gail (I love Sin City, and I couldn't have thought of a better person to play Gail)! Okay, can I just say that I adore you? I did see a preview in the movie theater when I saw Undiscovered with my friends at the end of August. I screamed in the middle of the theater and started singing along to Seasons of Love, completely disregarding all the other people in the movie theater. hehehe. I am soooo excited for the movie (and so relieved it's rated PG-13 so that I can see it over and over, now I just need a job) and you have a GORGEOUS voice. It's so smooth and pretty. How did you get lucky enough to get involved in this project? I mean, I would DIE to be in your shoes! It helps that I think Adam is hot...but, that's not the point! The point is you are sooooooooo lucky and I'm so glad you got picked to play Mimi. I think you'll do her justice.
