Yum. More RENT material.

When I downloaded and installed the PC version, rather than getting a screensaver the screen just goes black. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

LOVE IT! Now I can keep the countdown going all the time.

FUN! SCREENSAVER!!! I can't wait that long. Wednesday is like, a LONG time away. Too long to wait for a Taye Diggs video blog. Having fun waiting though. Hehehe. 31% of it is done. 32%.......this is taking too long. :D

A response! haha yay. I use XP too...the thing downloads fine, and it installs, but then when I go to Properties~>Screensavers and try to preview it, I just get a black screen.

p.s. if the cast reads this, youre all awesome-- August 4th is so far away.. and can you post the answer to my question its really importnat on wednesday.. on August 4th ist he today show, bryant park, and rockefeller centre.. will i be able to go to all of those things without missing? i really dont want to miss anything. I feel happy and sad at the same time, I'm driving out to Cali at about 6:00am on Wednesday, to go take a tour at Sony and go see Wicked! (I'm super super super exited about that! WOOT!) You guys wouldn't want to post the video blog before then would you. (tries to look innocent and sweet) Just Kidding, I'll have to wait until I can find a computer in Cali.

Idina, I was just wondering if you found your role of Amneris in Aida, similar to the role of Glinda in Wicked, and if so, if it affected the way you portrayed Elphaba in regards to her relationships with Glinda and Fiyero?

OMG!!! My friend and I love you Idina Menzel! You are the freaking best actress in the entire world. Your voice on WICKED has made me want to see the show sooooo bad! Thank you for being an inspiration to aspiring actors like me.

hehe... i just realized how freaky some fans are... they don't even really care about rent... kinda makes me sad... they're gonna see the movie and not really get it... but then i think... Yay, more money for the rent ppl. :-)

I've heard that one song glory is not gonna be in the movie... but it's on the screensaver... is it going to be in the movie? That would be awesome, it is one of my favorite songs!

I just wanted to say that I think that you look beautiful in this and I can't wait to see it. It looks like you guys are having so much fun. Idina you are wonderful and so is the rest of the cast. I listen to Over the Moon every day, I listen to Rent every day. So, keep up the hard work that you all do.

Try the PC version if you have Windows... the PC one worked on my computer. Anyway, thanks for the screensaver, and I'm really excited to see a video from Taye. I hope that all is well, and it should be an interesting days till the movie comes out. I hope that more promotional things are going to be done in the future... right now it still feels really far away, maybe it will feel closer once school starts. Anyway, I hope posters and other merchandise come out soon! I'll be waiting for any other news...

since my first audition for rent in 1996 ,,,, through working at the theater selling merchandise .... moving from NY to LA .... almost 10 years now ..... this show is so important to me .... i can't even express it .... just watching the trailer and the interview with idina (who is just unbelievable ... when i worked there i would watch "take me or leave me" every night just to see her ... and she blew me away in Wicked ... i practically cried when she won the Tony) ,,,,, it brings back so many memories ... i wish it was a time i could go back to .... because i'm at a really hopeless place in my life .... and if i learned anything from RENT. it's that there's always hope ..... always ...

hey i couldnt watch it but i heard idina say "after this i am never going to sing this song ever again" about 5000000 times cuz my computer hates me but thats cool cuz i'm the same way when i sing a song that much (i'm an actress too) not famous yet but getting there...kinda well idina i<3 u ur sooooooooo amazing! say hi 2 taye 4 me...me and my friends are gonna see the rent movie together and dress like the characters...i guess u know who i am going as...moreen who else well later

When I first found out you were leaving Wicked I was devastated, I ran out and bought tickets right away. Needless to say you were beyond amazing words cant even describe what I felt that night seeing and hearing you on stage. But when I found out you left to film the movie I was so excited! There were so many rumors (like you not playing Maureen!) I wasn’t sure how well the movie would turn out but now hearing everything from you and reading online I cant wait to see it. I was so disappointed that I cant make it to your show in cape cod this August it’s the same weekend as my best friends sweet 16 so there’s no way I can make it other wise I would have drove from NY just to see you! Thanks for the blog cant wait for the movie to come out! (im skipping school that day just to see you in it!)

Love you Idina!!! I can't wait for this movie to come out!!! I've been anticipating it ever since I heard about it and I'm definetly counting down the days!!! (106 more days I believe) I definetly going to the first showing, I don't care if I have to skip school for the amazing movie I'm sure it's going to be!!!

idina, im soooo excited to see "rent" on the big screen! it was by far one of the greatest plays ive seen, and i cant wait to see this new adaptation... but i have to say, im a little disappointed. only in theaters?? how unfortunate! i was looking forward to adding it to my DVD collection! oh well, good luck with everything!

YES! A screensaver! Wow the trailer for Rent is so cool when I saw it I was so sad that I have to wait until November to see it! But I know it will be worth the wait. Idina if you read these I love everything you've done, thanks for being an inspiration to actresses and singers everywhere, and for not shutting your fans out like some stars do!
