I'm liking you more and more as time goes on, Rosario. I will admit to being one of those naysayers...until i read a quote from your in one of my magazines: "If any one else had gotten the part, they'd be M.I.A now. I'd do anything for this part."

Since that, I've been happy to see you in MY role for the movie. (All my Renthead friends call me Mimi and Ms. Marquez). The cast loves you and who am I to disagree with Anthony Rapp (I bet he's just as gorgeous in person) and Adam Pascal (I envy you for getting to kiss him *envy, envy, envy*). And no, it wouldn't be very Anthony if he wasn't shoving a camera in people's faces and making us fans do a little jig with each video clip. Love the 'flowers for Tracie' love. Real and authetic love is the best!

Hey guys. I have known Rosario since elementary school and she has always been sweet. She is still the same awesome person and I can't wait to see her in this film! Unlike some other stars out there, she is genuine and she can really sing!

Rosario, must say I was a little surprised and upset when you were cast as Mimi, but seeing this and hearing the others talk about you...well, I think that perhaps you will prove me otherwise. Congratulations on being lucky enough to land this role, and I'm sure when I hit the theaters proabably several times in November that "Out Tonight" will still reign as one of my favorite songs of all time.

I can't even tell you, I am so pumped for this movie. I have been counting the days since I first heard the release date. I can't imagine the film without this cast. It's so unbelievably perfect. Not to put the cart ahead of the horse, but I hope these videos are included on the DVD. It makes the whole thing that much more special that all of you are so willing to commune with the fans.

Hey peeps. First time on this blog and I kinda feel like a posser. I've never seen RENT because at the time when tickets were available for me to see it my mom said I was too young (boo hoo). Ever since then I never really had the erge to see it even though I die every time I see a musical. One day I was listening to a remix of all of the songs in RENT and I found them so moving so I brought the entire soundtrack of every song and at first only listened to my favorites. One day I just sat down at my computer and listened to the entire soundtrack and by the time I got to Christmas Bells I was tearing over the relationship between Angel and Collins. Once "I'll Cover You" played I was getting misty because I dream of a love like that and by the reprise I was full out crying. The actors on this C.D. made feel like I was actually in the theatre. I still unfortunely haven't been able to see it on Broadway since I just moved to college but home is NYC and after listening to the cd everyday, I can't think of anything else but the broadway show and the movie. To the original cast,you are absoulutely beautiful. Your voices and the passion you put behind your music is unbelievable. Thank you actors for making these people come to life. Ms. Rosario Dawson, welcome to the family. I've seen many of your movies and after looking at the little "getting out of the blog" I can tell you are a free spirit. It's nice to know there are more happy people in this world. You seem like a joy to be around and I hope it was a joy to be apart of something millions wish everyday they could be apart including me. Your voice is amazing. You gave a great new flare to Mimi that I did not expect. Over the years many of us have listened to the rent soundtrack enough times to have every line, note, andvoice fluxuation memorized. We have became so familiar with how it sounds that I am sure it must have been intimidating to step into this role. You must have been wondering how this fan base would except you in the role as Mimi. You did an awesome job. Personally I think you have one of the best voices in the group, and that is saying a lot concidering the great talent you had to work with. You have played many parts in your life. I have to give you much deserved praise. I think you were wonderfully terrific in this film. You have an incredible voice and are a very very gifted actress. I have seen this movie six times because of your performance and the rest of the cast. Once I see it I can't get it out of my head and have to see it again and each time I love it more and more. So CONGRATS on a job well done and inspiring the lives of so many!

Rosario, I have to say I am now a HUUGE fan. I've always thought you were cute and everything, but to be honest, I've never seen any of your movies except MIB2 and I was busy lookin at will smith, lol. But now...? holy crap, you are UH-MAZE-ING! I loved everything about your performance- the singing(you have a very unique quality to your voice that I can't get enough of), the dancing(uh....DANG!!), and the acting(wow....i mean....wow...). Let me just tell you, I am not a cry-ee person, but your performance brought me to tears several times. and on the soundtrack, when you sing "goodbye love" brings tears to my eyes every time! The emotion in your voice is just ridiculous, I don't know how you do it, but I just replay the end of that song over and over, it's awesome.

To the whole cast and crew and director and everyone: Thank you for bringing this amazing film to us! I can't wait for the dvd, there better be a TON of special features on there, haha.

I saw Rent on Broadway and it was awesome, but I really think you did a fabulous job. You were and excelent addition! I liked the movie better than the play I think. You were so up close in the movie, it was great! I am not a crier in movies, but you had me bawling. I received the Rent movie soundtrack as a gift for Christmas (from my best friend) because I lost my original sountrack in a car accident I was in at the end of April. heyyyy i just wanted to let you guys know how much i loved rent! oh my gosh it brought tears to my eyes! i went with some friends, and we all loved it. i've seen it twice and cant wait til it comes out on dvd. i've never really gotten into musicals until now. its my FAV musical/movie ever! i love to sing, and you guys did an amazing job! rent is a classic, people will never stop loving it. see im in a senior girls choir, and i love it! i have a 3 hour practice once a week, but i know you guys do a LOT more, i cant even imagine. well, i'll stop talking now, luv yas, luv the video clips

Rosario, you were amazing in Rent!!!! I listen to the soundtrack 24 7. And i watch the movie now 2. I sing all of your parts 24 7 (when i am home) I loved you and Adam so much. When Mimi was dying, I sobbed everytime I watched it, since I didn't see since Thanksgiving. Mimi and Roger were my favorite characters! Actually, I loved everyone! You all did a fabulous job!!! rosario is incredible. i adore her so much! she is the reason im even into rent! I was a fan of hers and had never seen the show so i though "hey why not see the movie, roasrio dawsons in it" i saw it and fell in love with it! I HAVE to see the show sometime, but i dont think they play it here in london :(
